DEPARTMENT OF KAYACHIKITSA

A male patient complaints of severe pain in low back radiating to leg, unable to sit and walk. Patient was consulted allopathic hospital and suggested for surgery. He got admitted to SDM Hospital Udupi under Department of Kayachikitsa, radiologically investigated and diagnosed as lumbago sciatica syndrome.

Treatment modalities were followed as per Ayurveda and resulted in 80% improvements in signs and symptoms.
