International Nurses Day 2023was celebrated in Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Ayurveda Hospital in association with HRM committee on the theme Our Nurses Our future on 12/05/2023. The program was presided by Dr Mamatha K.V., Principal, SDMCAH, Udupi.
The event was graced by Chief guest Mrs. Meenakshi Sridhar, Rtd. Nursing Superintendent, KMC, Manipal, Dr.Nagaraj S. Medical Superintendent, SDMAH, Udupi, Mrs Shobha Praveen Nursing superintendent and Mr.Nagaesh, Hospital Manager, SDMAH, Udupi. The inaugural ceremony was commenced with lighting of lamp. Chief guest of the program Mrs. Meenakshi Sridhar spoke on Nurses Day 2023 theme Our Nurses Our future and highlighted the importance of nurses in the health care system along with challenges faced by the nurses in present scenario.
President of the function Dr. Mamath K. V addressed the gathering and appreciated the untiring efforts of all the nurses in improving the quality of health care in the hospital. On this occasion Dr Nagaraj S. acknowledged the nurses for their dedication and love towards the profession. Dr. Asha Lawan , Member HRM committee welcomed the gathering, Dr Poornima A. member HRM Committee concluded the program with vote of thanks. Dr. Mamitha RMO compared the event. There was an active participation of Nurses in the event. The whole program was coordinated by Dr. Shrikanth P, Chairman, Dr Thejaswi I Naik convener, Dr Suma V Mallya Dr Mohammed Faisal and Dr Rashmi members HRM Committee of the hospital.
