A SUCCESS CASE REPORT ON ROAD TRAFFIC INDUCED CORD COMPRESSION SYNDROME

Patient aged 68 years with the history of recent road traffic accident was diagnosed with cord
compression syndrome due to which he was unable to walk independently and had restricted
movements of right shoulder and neck. Conservative management was followed and had very minimal relief. Later he was brought to SDM Ayurveda Hospital, Udupi. Patient was completely unable to perform any activities.

Ayurvedic line of treatment was planned for Abhigatajanya pakshaghata / cord compression
syndrome with quadriplegia. Patient showed very good improvement in his condition and
was able to walk without support.
