A SUCCESS CASE REPORT ON SURGICAL MANANGEMENT OF FIBRIOD UTERUS WEIGHING ABOUT 4KGS

Patient aged 45 years had visited department of Prasuti and Streeroga of our hospital with complaints of distension of abdomen and mild pain abdomen.

USG report suggested of well defined large abdomino pelvic solid heterogenic lesion arising from the pelvis extending superiorly till the umbilical region and displacing the bowel loops. Findings of colour doppler suggestive of increased vascularity. The case was diagnosed as large subserosal uterine fibroid. Hence the patient was subjected for hysterectomy and 4kgs of fibroid uterus was removed successfully.
