HYPOTHYROIDISM AND R.ARTHRITIS

Mrs. Sunitha 53 years female from New Mumbai suffering from multiple joint pain with stiffness since 20 years, her pain and stiffness has aggravated since 6months. She has also developed back ache radiating to left lower limb since 6 months, she is diagnosed with Sero negative RA. She also complaints of discolouration over face . She is a known case of hypothyroidism on medication since 20 years.

Admitted at SDMCAU for 13 days from 16/2/23 to 28/2/23.After treatment her weight reduction was upto 3kg , joint pain and stiffness reduced upto 70% , facial discolouration has reduced. Hypothyroidism has come to normal with tapered modern medication.
